Ground Turkey and Kale Pasta


Ground Turkey and Kale Pasta
My whole family loved this dish.  Which is always a plus!!
 
Ingredients
1.25 lb ground turkey
4 portabello baby mushrooms
3/4 box whole grain pasta of your choice
1tsp EVO
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 chopped onion
1 tbl Italian Seasoing
1 tsp Garlic Galore seasoning
4 cups kale
1 cube chicken bouillon
1/4 cup water 
1 cup shredded cheese
2 tsp flour
2/3 cup almond milk (you can use regular milk)
2 ladles of the pasta water
 
1.  Cook pasta according to the directions and save two ladles of the water.
2.  Sauté the onions & garlic in the olive oil
3.  Add the kale and the Italian seasoning and sauté
4.  Remove from pan and cover with foil 
5.  Add meat to the pan and season with the Garlic Galore seasoning
6.  Remove the meat from pan and set aside
7.   Add the water and the chicken bouillon and dissolve over low heat
8.  Add flour and stir to make a roux
9.  Gradually stir in milk.  Continue to stir until thickened a little.
10.  Add cheese and stir until dissolved.
11. Add noodles.
13.  Add the vegetables and meat and stir.  Add the ladle of pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency.
14.   Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve!!
Makes 6 servings
